Large Projects Offshore (LPO) is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.

TenneT is looking for a Relatics developer to join the 2GW Relatics development team, which is part of the larger information management team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing the Relatics templates used in the 2GW program. The team serves around 450 internal and 300 external users as they write, negotiate and collaborate around the specifications for the 2GW offshore platforms, onshore stations and the cables that connect them.
The team is based in Arnhem (NL). Most team member work largely from home or own office. You are expected to be on location in Arnhem at least one day a week, The Information Management team is partly Netherlands and partly Germany based.
You will directly report to the Lead Information Management PMO - Large Projects Offshore.
Main Activities:
• You make an active contribution to the development and design of Relatics project environment based on SE principles for the project organization;
• You monitor the way of working, that this is incorporated into our work process and ensure that this leads to the desired result. You do this together with PMO's SE advisor;
• PMO strives to work as uniformly as possible so that information can be exchanged easily and according to open standards. As Relatics and SE administrator of several projects, you are one of the guardians of this;
• You adjust screens and overviews (tables and queries) for optimal use of the systems and information. You think along to continuously improve the type design and implement changes;
• You make suggestions for improvement and discuss this with the product owner;
• You participate in the operational management of the workspaces, such as updating templates, migrating and importing data, user role management.
What will you do?
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Relatics Developer;
• You are able to retrieve processes and information needs from end users;
• Can translate these processes and needs into a validatable information model;
• You can model in Relatics as if it were your second language. You understand the principles of cardinality, direction of relations, referencing, switch relations, middle-element relations, inheritance of properties and relations;
• You are proficient in configuring in Relatics; translating a customer requirement into a workable product in tables and tree structures, with or without parameters and, if necessary, with complex constraint queries;
• You are familiar with functionalities such as Web services, template functionality, imports, baselines;
• You can create, modify and deploy users, rights and roles.
• You are familiar with the Relatics-relevant functionality of StyleVision: (user defined) templates, nodes, sorting, grouping, conditions, design fragments, TOC, variables, layout, value formatting;
• You are familiar with formatting differences depending on the output (PDF, RTF, HTML);
• You can write and read queries in xPath to generate conditional output. You are familiar with the selection operators and selection functions.
• Knowledge of Javascript. This is commonly used for buttons that automate actions;
• Knowledge of XML.
Additional information:
• Travel time maximum 1 hour from Arnhem;
• Hybrid working is possible but preferable at least 1 day in the office in Arnhem;
