You will join the Operate unit:
Within the Operate unit you will work in the European Markets department.
Within the European Markets department, you will support a team working on regional European electricity market integration projects. The team contributes to the efficient functioning of the coupled European electricity markets and supports the ongoing energy transition across Europe.

The Role:
How do you help keep the Netherlands powered? As a PMO Support Regional European Electricity Market Integration Projects, you support regional European electricity market integration initiatives and contribute to improving the functioning of the coupled European electricity markets.

Your responsibilities include:
• Supporting the preparation of project meetings and coordinating required internal inputs.
• Coordinating dependencies between market integration projects within TenneT.
• Analyzing project proposals and assessing their impact on TenneT.
• Supporting the development of responses, positions, and recommendations.
• Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders in a complex international environment.
• You will work closely with colleagues across multiple departments and engage regularly with stakeholders both within and outside TenneT.

What You Bring
• Demonstrable experience with regional European electricity market integration projects (e.g., CORE/CE, HANSA) is a must!
• A few years of relevant experience with PMO support activities.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing (Dutch not required).
• The ability to deliver results in a complex environment involving diverse internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess the impact of market integration proposals on TenneT.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills.
• Results-oriented, flexible, proactive, and self-starting.
• A true team player with a positive and constructive critical mindset.
• Environmentally aware and confident in expressing your views when needed.

Additional information:
• This is niche PMO-profile: TenneT is specifically looking for candidates with experience in European energy market integration.
• The position is temporary, to replace a colleague in long term sick leave.
• The candidate is expected to work 2 days on site: Monday and one other day. The rest of the days can be worked from home.

Supplier information:
• Independent contractors (zzp) will not be concidered fort his role.
• Suppliers must be aware of the laws and regulations regarding employment conditions and Tennet’s Collective Labour Agreement. This assignment is placed in scale 8;
• We would like to receive the personal motivation of the candidate and CV in Dutch or English.

Screening:
• Pre-employment screening: If the candidate is selected to start, a pre-employment screening will be executed. We will send you the required documents to be filled in and returned as soon as possible. Your candidate is only allowed to start after the pre-employment screening has been completed successfully.
• Both UVO and VOG (certificate of conduct) are part of the screening. Only the VOG must be received before the candidate could start;
• All submitted candidates must be in possession of a valid Passport or ID card, which must be taken along to the interview and at the start of the assignment.
